What makes our puppy programs different than the typical 6-week obedience course?

We make sure those skills transfer into adulthood, so you're not left frustrated in that teenage phase when your puppy seems to develop a mind of it's own!  

 

The biggest difference between our programs is the level of ongoing support and reliability of commands in differing environments. You may choose the level of support you prefer for you and the new member of your family!

Puppy 
Foundations

Imagine bringing your new puppy home, and instead of chaos, you have a clear plan. From the first day, you know how to handle the excitement, the potty accidents, and those sharp little teeth on everything!

 

In our initial session, we’ll help you settle your puppy into their new home, tackle common problem behaviors, and get them started with crate training and basic commands to build on as the grow.

​

When your puppy reaches 4-5 months, we’ll meet again for a few additional sessions to teach them loose leash walking, so you can finally enjoy a peaceful walk without pulling or distractions.

​

With Puppy Foundations, you are preventing stress before it even starts. Housebreaking, chewing, and other common puppy headaches are avoided with a solid foundation, making life easier as your dog grows.

Typically completed in 4 sessions and by 6 months of age and includes:

  • Initial 1-on-1 session for puppy basics so that everything from potty training to crate training goes smoothly from the start

  • House manners: so your puppy learns to greet guests politely and you never have to worry about them running out the front door

  • Leash manners: so you can enjoy a walk with your new dog in the neighboorhood

  • 3 months of ongoing support and group classes so your puppy gets socialized with people and other dogs

Puppy 
Plus

Imagine not just surviving the puppy stage but thriving through your dog’s entire first year.

 

Not only will your puppy be well-behaved in the home and on neighborhood walks, but will be able to listen in public with more distractions so that you can take your puppy with you to do errands or to sit at the coffee shop.

​

This program will also support you as your puppy grows and enters the "teenage phase" when they're likely to start pushing boundaries so you don't lose any training progress.

With the Puppy Plus Program, you're not just teaching basic obedience—you’re building a reliable, well-mannered dog who fits effortlessly into your life.

Typically completed in 6-8 sessions by 9 months of age and includes:

  • Everything in the Puppy Foundations  so those first few months are a breeze 

  • Master loose leash walk so that your walks are enjoyable from the start and you never have to worry about pulling or lunging. 

  • Manners in Public so your puppy listens to you outside the home just as well as they do inside

  • One year of support through unlimited group classes and pack walks so your puppy is socialized and you don’t have to worry about all that hard work slipping

  • All necessary training equipment

  • Access to boarding at the trainers home so you never have to worry about where your dog will stay while your away

Puppy 
Elite

Imagine bringing home your puppy and they become everything you ever dreamed of! Getting an early start maximizes your puppy's success at growing into a well-mannered family companion.

Our most complete program teaches your puppy how to grow into a dog that will listen to you even when they are loose in the yard or off leash!

 

Like to camp or go for hikes? Or maybe a jog in the park? Walking on the beach? Join you for family picnics? Your dream of having a well-mannered dog at your side for all of life’s adventures will be a reality.

Typically completed by 9-11 months of age and includes:

  • Puppy Plus program PLUS

  • 10 day stay & train with trainer to solidify training and get your puppy off-leash ready

  • Off leash trust and freedom- because your dog is off-leash 99% of the time anyways!​

  • Lifetime support with access to unlimited group classes and pack walks for your dogs lifetime

  • All necessary training equipment

  • Priority access to boarding privileges so you have first call and never have to worry about where your dog will stay when you go away
